as performed in Sembia. Let us not forget.
Vultures Circle
Under the tree, with the brave they sit.
With their armor and sword, but lacking any wit.
Camp followers, vultures, looters and such
picking thru goblins, and orcs not finding much.
A crude, rusty sword from the orc did fall.
His motto and battle cry; "I will carry them all."
Thus burdened He cannot run, nor can he fight
but the 10 coin he gains it must be right.
I've seen the paladin rob a friend who was dead
"He'll have no use of it", was all he said.
With battle raging, kobolds died by the score
then I heard "Oh look there's a body more."
With bloody armors, and weapons he comes to sell
and sits in the tavern with stories of glory to tell
Til one day our "hero" himself joins the fallen
And the vultures and looters come a calling.
And I hear that faithful question as he lies cold;
"Hey, I wonder if his armor will bring much gold?"

Wishes
There was a knight who longed to wield, a more impressive lance.
To carry into battle and to aid him in romance.
Hey there! Ho there! A lessons here for you!
Be careful what you ask for, for your wishes might come true.
A wizard overheard the knight and granted his request.
The knight at first was overjoyed to see how he was blessed.
The knight went to a party with his weapon thus enhanced.
The lance made dining difficult and tripped him when he danced.
The next day at the tournament, he won the jousting meets.
For all who faced his fearsome lance, fell laughing from their seats.
Hey there! Ho there! A lessons here for you!

RING OF MISFORTUNE
Into the cave went the band of gold
on the hand of the minstrel, foolish and bold
Luck did frown and Misfortune doth smile
as his bones were added to the pile
To his Blood went the curse, for 200 coins, sold
Against corropution with sword drawn he stood
Protecting the Dale and Brother, like he swore he would.
A golden band on his finger as tuskers did surround
and there on the hill, again it fell to the ground
On the hill for Those Who Harp he was buried for good
Tossed to the dirt in a fit of anger
not knowing who next would face its danger
The gold ring was left for a fool to find
for those seeking riches are too often blind
Made of Misfortune, it is marked now, traveler and stanger.

Nailo has a nice grave in TPI, with a verse from one of his other songs inscribed.
Also, depending on how some of his friends put Jon Shieldjack's affairs in order, possibly another book of his songs, or his other published work, will somehow get into circulation.
