Willjo meticulously sketches Maren's face into his journal, to make sure he does not forget he owes him one...

The merchant you rescued, Daros Hanteren, was profusely thankful to you for saving his life and invited you all to meet him in a ride (the date of the upcoming session) at the Helm and Cloak in Baldur's Gate for a reward. If he is not there he said you can leave a message for him.

Following the successful recovery of his possessions, Daros informs you to meet him at the Merchant League for your payment. He also wishes to discuss the map and a possible expedition.

I would like to encourage you to post off session things you want to do. Right now Aron is doing some research, anyone else who wishes to advance the plot or their own purposes, please let me know here. Since the sessions may be somewhat irregular, this might be a good way to keep the story going.

Daphne is trying to translate the rubbing from the pedestal above the dungeon with any library she can get access to.

Aron is trying his luck in his patronage temple first. Then he might join Daphne or try to get to better sources using his persuasive ways. He has lots of drawings and notes about the ruins so that should make it much easier.

Your research thus far: the Ancient Blue Tome is written in an unknown script, but using a Read Languages spell you are able to read it. It is highly symbolic and abstract, and it almost seems like much of it is written in some kind of code. As far as you can tell it refers to a cult dedicated to a god of death, with several sub deities or possibly avatars. Human sacrifice is involved, and an exodus from somewhere. There are a lot of skulls.

Some of the symbols on the pedestal seem to have a directional significance, and others that also occur in the Tome seem to relate to the deity/avatars.

Ptolem would meet with the Employer and negotiate the sale of the items listed in the "loot" forum thread posted by Irindel earlier.

Also he would thank the employer greatly for the mission, and hopes the man has further missions for him and hopefully his companions from last mission.

He would also ask for any information on Dragons that the man might know about, including if he knows of any reading materials about the same he could borrow/read, learn from.

Ptolem would also do his own research, both with NPCs and in books about the region he finds anywhere and through word of mouth to find out any Dragon presence either in recent news, or in the past. He is interested in both 'good' and 'evil' dragonkind.

He also will continue his training in Armorsmithing (he is already quite the accomplished armorer), concentrating specifically on learning how to use 'natural materials' to fashion armor, for instance, "Dragon Scales" and "Full Plate Mail" come to mind.....

Aron goes with Ptolem and so they can do the haggling together.
He also mentions his acomplishments in taking noted and drawings, also the things he learned - without revealing too much about it, and asks what is it worth for him to buy that information.

((Why would Aron be concerned about the outcome if Ptolem discusses the items with the employer? and since it's quite blatantly in the open, I suppose "Ptolem would try to do the haggling more than Aron does, because he would be concerned about the outcome if only Aron spoke." :) ))
