How are graphics loaded into forum posts these days?
I can't seem to upload pics to posts via the attachment tool any more {pics on my desktop HD).
Is it too resource intensive, or am I just doing it wrong?

And mind the file size. You have to attach a relatively small image or host it yourself for it to work.

Sorry to clutter CD's thread, but cluttering threads is my special talent.
I'm trying to post images in a forum thread and failing miserably...I need some help from someone smarter than me.
I uploaded the images to my Google photo site and asked for a sharable link, but when I put the sharable link in the image brackets like this:
All I get on my post preview is: Image
I've also tried the same thing on my Microsoft Onedrive account, same results.
I've used this method repeatedly in the past and it's always worked...anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

IMG tags require an actual image link.

This is not an image, but a website. You need an actual image, like something that ends in .jpg or .png or whatnot.

Figgered it out...it was the size, not the link.
Now I just need to discover the size cap and resize everything.
Edit:
Just re-figgered it out with Foam's help...it was the Google/Microsoft hosting sites, not the size
Started an account with postimage.org...works fine now
Expect rainbow images coming at you from all directions very soon
