Swedish Short film based on DnD ripoff :D

Post by boombrakh »

So, way back when, in the year of 1982, a Swedish company decided to make a Dungeons and Dragons of their own. And they called it "Drakar och Demoner" (Dragons and Demons). Since then, there has been seven editions and in 2006 they released the latest one. (Wiki page)

Anyways, a short movie was released today on YouTube and for you non-swedes it's subtitled. A few of my friends are in it and it looks great :)

Here it is:

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Well done! I did have to look at the subtitles a few times here and there, but not much, as they enunciated quite clearly!

That was very well done and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Also, loved the costume. Real viking helms, not horns!

I've always believed the only thing that stands between us Swedes and greatness is jante. I think these guys broke through the glass ceiling. I love it!
