Love Baldurs Gate but hate clunky second edition rules? Well, you are in luck, friend, because now you can play the entire game (and apparently ToTSC as well) in 3D in the game we all already own that uses a clunky implementation of 3.5 edition rules! Neverwinter Nights 2!
Baldur's Gate: Reloaded is a fan-made tribute to and complete remake of Baldur's Gate (1998), orginally developed by BioWare and published by Interplay Enterainment, for Neverwinter Nights 2. This campaign features both the entire original campaign and its expansion, Tales of the Sword Coast.
NOTE: Baldur's Gate: Reloaded requires that you have both Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir expansion packs installed.
7 years it took. That is some serious dedication.

Is it odd that I found myself cringing at all the running around in full armor that was going on in that trailer?

This whole thing about not being able to run in full plate has been debunked on several occasions.
Also, I think the mod looks neat. Have they carried over the voice acting or is it only the written dialogue?
