I used to. I was all about high ELO, but I stopped once Season Two went into pre-season. Buddies that I used to play with do "ELO jobs" now for cash and the game just lost a lot of interest for me once I heard about crap like that going down. Been debating getting back into it again, but I also have DotA 2 beta to play.

I play it regularly. Never heard of 'elo jobs' but doesn't surprise me. I also don't care too much. That craps going to happen regardless.

Names Adanu there if you want a ranked game partner that doesn't suck.

Ah, well, I've only just started playing and am a mighty level 14 but I'm keen to learn. So far I've beeing playing mostly solo mid (w/ Ryze), bottom lane support (w/ Soraka and Alistar) and jungling (w/ Shyvana). I've been playing with the Zen group for a little while who have a rule about not bashing someone who's new, help them instead; unlike going solo queue where the BM is simply staggering - far, far worse than anything I encountered clawing my way up from Bronze to Diamond in SC2. I've picked up a fair amount from the Zen mob, certainly learned more than I would have by going solo for the same amount of time (~3 weeks).

I don't give a monkeys about people who pay to have their ELO raised. I'll never be good enough to play at high level so I don't see the point in worrying about that. If it moves more sad muppets out of the range of people I'll end up playing then that sounds fine to me. I see it as being analogous to promoting a moron out of the unit.

I'm on EUWest (or whatever they called it) as defektive. If either of you are on the same server and want to mold a new player into being your perfect *cough* lane partner then I'm your putty.

I'm expecting everyone here who plays this to be on different servers thus nothing will come of it. Not pessimistic, realistic.

Yeah, I'm on the North American servers, so no dice here.
