My SF&F Public Reading

Wasn't quite sure if I should put this here or in the Library... I'm in a Science Fiction and Fantasy writers' group, we had our second public reading last month and the whole event was put out as a podcast! If you've ever been curious to hear my voice or want to hear my story as well as several other excellent stories of various SF&F flavours, here is a link for you! The first voice you hear is me, I compere the whole event and my story is right at the end, called
Howl. The whole thing is edited to about an hour and that picture next to it? That's me with the red hair
http://www.cvillepodcast.com/2012/03/19 ... n-reading/
(edited because I drank too much beer and the F in SF&F typically stands for fantasy, no need to write it twice!)

Was a very enjoyable listen. I am glad you are exercising your writing chops regularly, though I still encourage you to seek an agent and submit some stuff

since you have no little skill in the art.

Thanks JLM and Maxcell
I hadn't realised just how much I speed up as I read, I need to do something about that! It's pretty cool that we went out as a local podcast, I'm so proud of my group, we've come a long way from an idea I had and kicked off.

Since it wasnt explicitely stated otherwise, I am going to assume Farion is/was a rather rotund drow with bright, red cheeks and nose (possibly rosacea?) and a taste for chocolate-chocolate cake prior to his misfortunes.
Yours was my favorite story of the bunch. Que talent.

Absolutely spot on Heero, I chose not to mention his pausing for chocolate cake in between his smithing because naturally I knew it would be assumed!
And thank you
