I <3 Green Vegetables.

I like to steam my broccoli. On my steamed broccoli, I enjoy a dash of salt, a dash of crushed red pepper, and a light drizzle of olive oil.

I like to roast my broccolini. On my roast broccolini, I enjoy a light drizzle of olive oil and sprinkling of crushed rosemary as it roasts, then a dash of salt once roasted.

I enjoy steamed brussel sprouts. I like to simmer whole, peeled garlic cloves and crushed red pepper in olive oil before adding the brussel sprouts. I then add just a bit of water to steam them to perfection. Once finished, I enjoy a dash of salt on my sprouts.

I prefer to steam frozen peas in the microwave. I steam them with whole, peeled cloves of garlic. I enjoy a dash of salt on my peas, and, if feeling bold, a nice drizzle of Cholula hot sauce.

I also prefer to steam frozen lima beans in the microwave. On the finished lima beans, I enjoy melting unsalted, stick butter and sprinkling a dash of salt.

These are the vegetables which I enjoy that immediately spring to mind. but I am certain there are others.

Dicslaimer: Some of these vegetables may, in fact, be legumes. It is, however, impossible to distinguish between a legume and vegetable, regardless of what 'experts' might say. If someone, probably a hipster, attempts to tell you the vegetable you are enjoying is a legume, simply stare at this hipster as though he or she has two heads.

Actually most vegetables are really fruits 8)

You just made me very hungry, Heero. I like all of the above as well. Try a squeeze of lemon or lime just before eating the broccoli on top of the rest...it adds a bit of zesty freshness :D

Also you might try pan roasting the brussels after halving them and smearing with olive oil and some salt...comes out with a nutty flavour.

Damn...it's time for dinner, heh

Try cutting an large organic yam in half, placing the flat ends on a pan, pricking to let the steam out, then roasting for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. From there they carmelize and there is no need for anything but a spoon.

Bah, any cooking or steaming of vegetables is just wrong. Raw is the best, I do not understand you people thinking otherwise.

Do brussel sprouts taste pretty good when eaten raw?

I prefer my asparagus grilled, with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.

You speak as if there are other kinds of vegetables in France! We all know it's just lentils and peanuts there, and that the onions and carrots are just a coverup. :o
