And therefore we now have a nice name:
http://www.facebook.com/ALandFarAway
Could anyone create us a nice button like the "Sign up!" and "Donate" buttons at the top of the website that would say "Facebook Like" or even better Like with the small "f" facebook logo ?
If no-one can I'll give it a try but I'm not good at photoshop...

"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." -- Richard Dawkins

You dont even have facebook!paazin wrote:Depends on the person. Idiot teenagers or 20-somethings, sure.zicada wrote:It's just a group. Generally, FB'ers are in hundreds of them, i doubt anyone would even notice or care enough to poke around and find it.
Also, man up and embrace the geekiness. It isn't the 90s any more when nerdy geeky stuff was frowned upon by 'the cool kids'
Anyway, good luck y'all, I'm certainly not joining either.

I have just a small problem. The normal facebook button has to be under the custom button. Could you make the background black instead of transparent ?
Cheers.
PS: PMing you this as well.

People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

yeah, um its ok to step out from behind the curtain. We are all real ppl. You aren't automatically friended with everyone who likes the page, and you may get friend requests, but just dont accept them, tis ok.

Re: ALFA on Facebook (part 1)
i for one friended everyone on that page well, everyone that had the "friend request" button enabled on their wall. i personally have no problem with people knowing my real name, or any other info on my facebook page for that matter. if i don't want people to know, i just don't put it on there.
so, that being said, everyone on the ALFA facebook page better friend request me or risk having their PCs DM killed.
wait, i don't have that power anymore.... add me anyway!
on a serious note, i think this was a great idea. you hang around ALFA long enough and you get to know the regular ppl you play with pretty well. it's always great to be reassured that there's real ppl behind those PCs with real lives. that's what i missed about PnP gaming. this takes it one step closer and i'm all for it.
