naaah ya got it all wrong... we were the "non-geeks" who played D&D.
The guys who did real well in school, but still pipped off Fridays, got chicks, partied on the weekends, drank and smoked alot.
...my crew and I were the jocks and cool kids who liked to beat the be-jesus out of those skinny asshole mohawks and punks who picked on the weeklings and geeks cause thass'all they could.
hehe

Weird. It was usually all the jocks and "cool kids" that picked on all the mohawks/geeks/outsiders/punks/etc...
At least where I came from.

Yes, there were those fellas too, but we were not them.

I didn't start playing until the early 80s. And I don't have any photos.

The jocks and cool kids at my school were all pretty cool. It was the losers and geeks that tended to bully me.

Logically speaking, the losers and geeks tend to be the ones with lower self esteem, so would find it more rewarding to take out their frustrations at having a lack of self worth on outsiders like myself who didn't really fit into any of the social groups and was generally non-threatening.
