My evaluation period has ended...

At 909 days with mIRC. Apparently that's bad because now they really want their money and won't let me talk anymore. So, anyone else know of a good IRC client for chat?

If you use Firefox, then a plugin IRC client like ChatZilla should do quite nicely.

Or you could just download a cracked version of mIRC.

They don't require you to register mIRC. You can keep using it.

I haven't updated mIRC in a long time, so it may have changed in more recent versions, but I have noticed that very occassionally it will tell me I have passed my evaluation period and I have to register the application and won't connect. Then the next time I start it up, it comes up with the standard message that it would be really nice to register seeing as I've been using it for so long.

Which is a fair enough point. I probably should register it.

when it says no and makes you exit, just close it, open it again and it'll work

it never stops you completely, mine tells me no once or twice a week, its onyl a slight delay until I reopen it and it goes fine
