Had a handful of PMs from ALFA members asking if everything is alright after they've read that a city in New Zealand was hit by a large quake last night. So just posting up here to say both myself and NickD are completely unaffected by the quake. It woke me up at about 4 am, but that the extent I was directly effected. Would have given Thangorn a nice wake up - he's a fair bit closer, but still out of the hit area. Deathmage is the only ex-ALFA member I know of in the city, although he is far enough out in the suburbs that the main damage would have missed him.
