You've never spent a night playing something and looked up and been surprised by the first rays of the rising sun? Civ4 has done that to me several times, nwn too. Just a few more xp, just need to finish this assault, etc etc.
Built: TSM (nwn2) Shining Scroll and Map House (proof anyone can build!)

I was once unemployed for 18 months and acutely felt many of the things that are discussed in these threads. I can definitely relate. I'm sure most of that time I was playing NWN1...

You NWN legend! I'm so jealous.... I have to fit games in between changing nappies and uni study and treating my wife nice...Riotnrrd wrote:I was once unemployed for 18 months and acutely felt many of the things that are discussed in these threads. Anything turn based destroys my sense of time. The Total War and Three Kingdoms series being responcible for the most hours missing from my life.fluffmonster wrote:You've never spent a night playing something and looked up and been surprised by the first rays of the rising sun? I think some better questions than "are press the button and get a carrot" games immoral, are, why do some people get bored of WoW in less than 4 weeks? and how do women detect this trait instinctively? and can the type of game geek you are actually be transmitted by pheromones? and how do I bottle my sexier than most gamer geek pheromones? and would you like to buy a bottle of pheromones?
These are the questions that plague society!

Nick Yee's stuff is pretty interesting. I participated in his surveys for the last 2 years before he wrapped it up.
