And why is this guy famous? (1515 local 15Feb09)

It's a glorious day in Haven Hills, TLR and we find two halflings sitting on a hill over looking the town below...

"So why is this gnome so famous, Aunt Ginnia?" asked the small, lith hin lass in short hair & shirt, her tights already ruined with grime and dirt from play. Her fingers dug tracks in the soft peat easily, as well as showing her youthful impatience for answers.

Across from her, sat an older halfling, dressed in soft hued leathers dyed blue. She clearly was stalling her answer to her sister's oldest child and secretly enjoyed watching her squirm in interest to today's topic. "Ya reallly.... REALLLY wanna know, Kojima? REALLY?" The lass's head bobbled with affirmatives, her facial expression alone pleading.

"Please, Aunt Ginnia!!!" That mearly caused the elder hin to giggle, much to little Kojima's torment. "Ok. Here's what i know about this 'Darwin teh gnome'..... you sure?" With Kojima suddenly turning red, Ginnia howled in laughter and started to explain in detail.

"You see, Kojo-dear. This gnome is famous for being a heritic of sorts. you know, like those tallies Banedorks that protest outside the gate all the time? 'equal pay', my assweat. Har! Darwin teh gnome is famous for saying the tall about how Yondalla (bless her steel balls!) created our people. wanna know why he pissed off half the planet, all the Tormites... ahhhh, as well as all the other gnomes- even the Nut case gnomes?"

Kojima was at her wits end waiting.

"Well here's the scoop. He said everthing came from something...the trees, the birds, your mom's bad cooking. halflings. HA! we started it all. the dragons, we started it. the orcs, we started that too (think it was bad one-night stand with a pig). everthing...."

Kojima was speachless so Ginnia continued. "well when you think about it (preferably with a bottle of gin), it makes sence. everything that is 'better' than us... exists now, but didn't exist then. you see?"

The little hin was still speachless but she still had one thought on her mind. "did you make that all up?"

"Yep! everybody knows halflings didn't start it all but we'll be the end-all! Har!" Both hallflings shared laughter with that...

Story kinda went nowhere but what ever. anything to taunt the folks who call us heritics (lick my what?)
