"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." -- Richard Dawkins

It's a first person game where you can free run atop rooftops and avoid/kill cops trying to stop you. So much fun, you just get way into the game. Trailer here:

ZP thought it sucked. Granted, he thinks everything sucks, but he often has something nice to say about a game in between picking at flaws... this time all he said was that it's good that they tried something new....

ZP is for laughing, not necessarily for taking seriously

No idea why Yahtzee didn't like it, I say at least rent it and give it a try. Maybe he just couldn't get the hang of it, but I thought it was a grand experiment and worked.

You have to read between the lines and take the reviews with several large pinches of salt, but I think ZP makes a lot of good points in his reviews.

He makes the kind of reviews I would make if I had the talent to do so. Generally other reviews oversell games and people have come to expect that. It's gotten to the point where I generally won't even consider a game with a score below 8. I was reading the comments on the IGN review for Hellboy : The Science of Evil (3.5!) and people were saying that despite it's many many flaws, it deserved a 7 because anything below a 5 should only be for games that are broken. WTF? In my day 50% meant you did something right, not that you didn't do something wrong!

Anyway, I digress... I wasn't planning on getting Mirror's Edge anyway... but I did decide against Dead Space after I watched the ZP review.

Ratings nowadays use a 7-11 scale and are generally worthless.

IGN gave God Hand a 3. They suck, know nothing, and are useless.
