As you can see, I added the ability to embed youtube stuff. Since a TON of music is available on youtube, it would be cool to make a 'my fav music' thread.
Just click 'youtube' and paste in the ID from the youtube video.
Though not really a huge favorite, this is a pretty great track, from a pretty great band from the 60s.
Also, this is pretty cool since its from Woodstock, and the sounds and video production is still pretty good.

Taken from my music thread two pages back...
Band: Murder by Death (formerly known as Little Joe Gould) Genre: Rock About Them: Their name is from an old comedy from 1976 of the same name. They play a wide range of music styles, but have a hint of country influence in their sound (it has a Cash ring to it at times). Their last three albums, "Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them?" (2003), "In Bocca Al Lupo" (2006), and "Red Of Tooth And Claw" (2008) are all considered concept albums (ie. have a story to them/reoccurring theme), and all differ in sound. They work in both a cello and piano into their songs (they have more piano in their earlier albums, before the pianist quit and the woman on cello had to play both in concerts) and they describe their concept albums on their website, if anyone is curious as to what their themes are. Similar To...: As of late, Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen have a strong similarity to their sound (especially in vocals). Their earlier work can be considered a more generalized indie sound. Song(s): Killbot 2000 (from Who Will Survive...), Brother (from In Bocca Al Lupo), Spring Break 1899 (from Red of Tooth and Claw)
Band: Explosions in the Sky Genre: Instrumental Post-Rock About Them: They're a Texas-based band that is all instrumental. Their music is, normally, very mellow and hypnotic, songs flowing in and out without the listener knowing they were on a new track. For anyone interested in them, their album "All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone" is truly a wonderful piece -- six songs that flow so well that you really can grow to enjoy them (quickly at that). Similar To...: Mogwai, The F*cking Champs Song(s): The Birth And Death of the Day, Welcome, Ghost, t's Natural to be Afraid, What Do You Go Home To?, Catastrophe and the Cure
(That's five of the six tracks from the album I suggested. If you appreciate their sound, which is in order, then by all means look for the finishing touch to the album. It's Natural is the only song that has been cut short, sadly.)

Jesus' Blood Never Fails Me. A tramp was singing a tune when someone noticed it was actually well coordinated, so they conducted music around it. Oh, and Tom Waits sings in this one as well (which was added in 1990).

I bought the DVD. Great show, although very little stage presence. The crowd is the reason to watch it/be a part of it.
To contribute,

Can“t believe I forgot this....
Pantera: Cemetery Gates
Blind Guardian is mostly for just listening. Works best with studio versions imo as then you hear all the little nuances in their playing.Something most excellent anyway.

To this day I always have loads of Clash & Ramones tunes in my iPod when I'm running a 5k or have my Trek set up in the living room. Here's some of my favs from The Clash:
I had the pleasure of meeting the Ramones backstage at a concert while minding an actress for a sponsor early in my career. Good times:
