Note found near ship
Note found near ship
Dear friends,
I have embarked on a perilous journey far from my homelands. It was with great honor that I took up the challenge set before us by Thrall and the other leaders of the Horde to march into Northrend and take the fight to Arthas, the self styled Lich King, himself.
I know that this journey is wraught with peril and I try to push it out of my mind. I have seen the horrors that the Lich King has brought upon even what was his own kind when he was human. He represents a threat to all of Azeroth and must be put down like a rabid dog. I have heard rumblings that even the Alliance have sent their armies into Northrend to once and for all end Arthas' threat.
After the recent attack on Orgimaar by the Lich Kings forces many of my allies have banded together, put our affairs in order at home, and set off on this long jouney to the far north. The cold air chills to the bone and my nights have been full of nightmares of things surely to come in the future. I write this to you as I currently see the continent of Northrend off in the distance. The goblins assure us that we will be safe as we enter closer to the continent and make our way to Howling Fijord.
Pray for me, my brothers and sisters. Today, We take the fight to the greatest threat ever to live upon Azeroth. Even with our great forces and the armies of the alliance also coming to wage war upon the Lich King I wonder if its still truly enough to defeat him.
Soon we shall find out. For the Horde!!!

Re: Note found near ship
Bloody euros get it earlier than us, damn them, though of course, even the US gets it before us aussies, since we got shafted with a release date of the 14th, though i suppose with a midnight launch it ends up only being about 6 hours after the US.
Re: Note found near ship
Should I know what the hell you are talking about?
Judging by Swift´s post, it´s a game. By looking at the original post alone I would just assume someone has lost a few too many marbles from staring at a computer screen too long.

WoW jaghattery indeed. Today is the day of the second expansion and, having played beta, i can assure anyone else that might be playing WoW that it will indeed be fucking awesome.

Lost my account summer '07, no desire to make a new one.

Almost lvl 72 with my Boomkin. Taking my time leveling. Got to Dalaran and got the bear mount on two of my toons. Been fishing otherwise for coins in Dalaran for the achievment. Made my Death Knight and shes almost 59. DK's are hella fun. The Xpac is serious business.
Blizz did a wonderful job on this Xpac. Reminds me a lot of Kunark for EQ1 at how expansive it is. So much to see and do. I dont see me quitting anytime in the near future.
We had our first of two Wrath parties at my business tonight and we made a killing. Tons of people here and they were buying the game and game time cards as well as paying for the party tonight. I made more in one night than I could in a week. Was pretty sweet!

Actually I've seen some good/fun roleplaying on WoW. Just that the system isn't really built to support it, at all.
or we could go with the stereotypes, man those are hilarious arent they

The music is a standout, everywhere you go it just fits.
And for Lore fans, the Wrath Gate cutscene and the retaking of undercity is just freaking awesome.

74 with my Boomkin. 61 w/DK.
The zones are awesome and well done. The music in game is great! There are so many freaking quests just in Bordea that I could almost do those 4 levels in that zone alone. Moved onto Grizzly Hills. Its a fantastic looking zone.
I cant wait to get to 77 so I can get Cold weather flying and then fly around the continent. So many awesome places to see. I also havent done any of the new pvp yet. I really wish Wintergrasp was for under lvl 80. (I dont think it is, but I could be wrong). All the stuff with seige engines and flying around or using horses w/quests is just neatly done. They did a top notch expansion this time.

If you didn't do Dragonblight, you need a good slappin'
And trust me, having done both Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord in beta (and Howling Fjord on Live) you would need to do both to hit 74. One zone will take you a little way into 72 at most
76 on my druid, going for 77 and cold weather flying today. Just about finished with Grizzly Hills now, just tossing up whether i go see Hemet Nessingwary in Sholazar Basin or whether i head into Zul'Druk. Think i might do Sholazar becayse Zul'Druk as a 'Ring of Blood' type thing, and im waiting for my friends to catch up before doing that.
