Have you played the game? Have you played the game to 70 and done most of the content in game? If your just playing the game to futz around and havent done end game content then you will never know. Blizz does a hell of a job doing end game encounters.

There is a real reason why Blizzard is so successful. They make damn good games.

Pretty badass. The incredible depth of worldbuilding and story is what drew me into playing WoW, and even after a year since i quit playing, it's still the one thing i miss about it.

Curious to see what beta is like now, after being in the beta before the original release. 70 levels difference ;)

WotLK is taking a lot of slack at the moment. Blizzard is ashamed of how quickly 60-70 could be achieved, therefore they recently raised the level cap in WotLK so, essentially, 70-80 will take the same amount of time as 1-70 took. I believe 79-80 takes 3.2 million at the moment, which is absolutely ridiculous.

Demigod, for all your bouncing pixelated boobies needs!
IGN: We really haven't heard much yet about this game -- what is Demigod?

Chris Taylor: Demigod is a strategic fighting game. The easiest way to describe it would be, and especially if you've read some of the press that came out last week, it's easily described as Defense of the Ancients, the Warcraft 3 mod. That's the easiest way to describe it to someone in an elevator.
And then, in the same interview...
IGN: Why do you think people would want to play this kind of game?

Chris Taylor: There are a couple of itches we're scratching here. One is we want to do something that is truly creative. We do a little bit of coffee pot bitching and complaining about our industry in a sense that we see a lot of derivatives, we see a lot of numbers incrementing after the name. And we probably all do. So we said let's put our money where our mouth is, let's build something really, that…it has to be familiar but it also needs to be creatively fresh. You have to kind of do both, and we feel that's what this is…When it comes to playing, they [hypothetical Demigod player] grab the mouse, they click, they drag, they know exactly what to do, but they're playing a new game they've never played before. That's key.

Frankly I liked the setting and music of WoW a lot, but couldn't stand the gameplay.

Also this should have been their first expansion; if you look at the feature list, it's everything they promised at 2004 release and then cut.

Speaking purely artistically, that trailer made my jaw drop to the ground. And I do that sort of thing as a profession! Animators everywhere should be in awe. Blizzard's cinematic team never fails to deliver. (Now they just need to hire me... even though I've applied a couple times already)

Speaking from the game's perspective, I'm guessing this will be the last expansion they can come out with. Because if you're gonna end up fighting Arthas, there's nowhere else to go after that. He's always been the Big Bad Evil Guy. There's no one bigger, badder or eviller :P
Yes, I know that's not a real word. Chill.

I quit WoW when they came out with the first expansion and haven't looked back since, even though I still join my server's IRC channel daily. Point is, even the flashiest cinematic won't bring me back to that timesink. It was fun while it lasted but I moved on.

Good luck to everyone else, though! :)
