Posts in this constitute such behavior.
Excuse me. I made no racial remark towards anyone in the ALFA community. I never have and never will. Any exchange of vulgarity is clearly good-natured joshing around that has been a staple of Off-Topic discussion since my becoming a member.

I think you readers of Off-Topic are intelligent enough to see that my recent antics here have been heaping doses of irreverent humour. Considering the contexts, it's clear my posts come from comedic intentions and not hateful ones.
ALFA Rulebook wrote: 6.1 Out-Of-Game Behaviour

There will be no inflammatory remarks made OOC towards anyone in the ALFA community in a public forum. ALFA forums and chat are public. While you can speak freely, rude or aggressive language is not allowed. You may not post any type of pornographic pictures, text, or links, or inflammatory or graphically violent references to nationality, race, culture, gender or creed. Admin or forum moderators decide what ‘inflammatory’ means.
Now there's a rule that has largely been 'looked away' from for years. Inflammatory references to culture and creed are made ad nauseum in Off-Topic! Often not in jest either. The moderators are terribly inconsistent!

So let's draw some lines and clear things up so posting here isn't a stroll on eggshells. A few questions concerning comedy in Off-Topic:

1. Am I allowed to make fun of women's stupidity? If not, why not?

2. Am I allowed to make fun of men's stupidity? If not, why not?

3. Am I allowed to make fun of racial stereotypes? If not, why not?

4. Am I allowed to make fun of White America? If not, why not?

5. Am I allowed to make fun of Christianity? If not, why not?

6. Am I allowed to make fun of liberalism/conservatism? If not, why not?

7. Am I allowed to make fun of celebrities? If not, why not?

8. Am I allowed to make fun of gays, cripples, the infirm, Republicans, the Polish, the French, Wal-Mart employees, retards, cheesemakers, aluminium recyclers, etc., etc., etc.

If not, why not?

Now to a few of those questions, the answer has been a resounding yes, considering this forum's history. The answer should be affirmitive to all those questions. Be consistent on principle!

Instead we see political correctness and Admin taking a self-righteous phony moral high ground against certain jokes in Off-Topic. The double standard is disgusting.

And now I have an Infrastructure Strike on my record. Perhaps a couple more once the PC police have a look at this post.

Sorry, I don't lay down for bullshit.

I don't have time to play these days unfortunately. I can't commit to any of the scheduled sessions and making one, maybe two, a month (at best) is more frustrating than satisfying. If/when any time does free up, I'll be using it to get some new DM client training in the OAS2.

I've a few minutes here and there in the evenings to review and manage any applications in the Admissions forum and to engage in Off-Topic shenanigans and tomfoolery. So tha's whut I'ma gonna do miss'um.

If you have an issue with a way the moderation was handled, contact the Head of Moderation - don't go starting a thread about it.

You do not know what is going on behind the scenes nor who else has received a strike for similar behaviour - that which you claim is double standards. I know while I was in charge of moderation I warned many a people about remarks like the one you made in the previous thread and would not call what Wynna's (or Rusty's, or whoever) actions having any double standard.

That is the main contention JM....Sudden moderation of the forums (especially off topic) after little to no moderation in past months with a strike given without first giving a warning of..."this is not acceptable, do it again and you've earned yourself a strike" often is a bad approach to problems in the forums that creep of from time to time and why these situations tend to create irateness. At points, I think it behooves us not to put what we have the power to do to the side, and instead do the better choice of cease and desist or ...

In all, I would do as Rotku suggests and contact the Head of Moderation.

instead of spending time whining about consistency and equity, how about just being less of a tool? You've been deliberately provocative though a number of threads so I'm not sure why you're all surprised that someone has been provoked to action. That falls in the "be careful what you ask for" category.

$5 says the hitler pics earned a second strike, so he won't be reading these for about a week.

Racial prejudice comments and swastika pics are usually enough to warrant a strong response in most civilized environments, I don't really see why it shouldn't be the case here, or why would he need to be warned that those are in bad form. Common sense never hurt anyone.

I am not willing to take that bet.

PL, my comments above were for previous posts, not the hitler spin offs. I think V is pushing buttons and measuring limits now.

But you assume that it exists in the first place!

This seems like wonderful, sound advice.

Course, this is off-topic, the point of which often seems to be finding ways to out-'tool' eachother.

He started the racist jokes before that. He might think them funny. Lots of others might agree. Many are offended by those though.
