Watching the demo vids of TF2 made me feel like I was watching The Incredibles. Very cool... but why the heck aren’t there any female avatars to play, just dudes??

Political correctness??? Yes, something must be done to stop all you dudes from playing chick toons and cybering the night away with the warm glow of the monitor as romantic mood lighting.

The models they used for the avatars are fantastic, I just thought it would be cool to offer a gender option to expand on it even more. Nice to see some of you pastey white, basement dwelling cave man wannabes see it as an equality issue. Thanks for the chuckle Conan

People think the pyro is a chick, since his/her locker on 2fort has a flowery purse.

I think the main reason is the Team Fortress characters have been men since the beginning and they didn't want to completely change them. The TF2 ones are a lot different than the classics, but still recognizable. :f

Medic, Scout and Pyro would've made great female characters IMO.
