Surface computing

This looks very cool. It would be fun to play around with, at the least.

Very interesting, and it doesn't take a lot of imagination to think of all the applications it could have in the future. In that incarnation, it's not a viable workplace computer though. Most people will not want to bend over a coffee table all day or stand up all day to use their computers. Maybe if it was on a diagonal display, like one of those architect's desk things...

I see it coming out as a niche market, with some definite uses in richer people's smart-homes, and then after a few revisions it may even start enroaching on the PC market.
Current PCs:
NWN1: Soppi Widenbottle, High Priestess of Yondalla.
NWN2: Gruuhilda, Tree Hugging Half-Orc

It is cool but unwieldy. Niche market for sure, I bet computer artists would love it.

geez, old news. slashdot had this like over a week ago. :P
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.
