I am playing the free trial now. What's up with the life time membership thing?

I noticed my PC gamer came with a beta code but I haven't actually looked around to see what is available.

Same, HEEGZ. Maybe I'll look into it over the weekend.

I got into the beta, but never played it. Im playing WoW and enjoying leveling up my lock to 70 and my new Blood Elf paly. Trying out the jewelery crafting as well. I think Stormy was playing Lotr sometime ago, but Im not certain he still is.
The thing with the lifetime membership is, if I remember right, is you pay a onetime fee of like 200.00 or so dollars and you can play the game for as long as Turbine keeps the servers up. All in all your basically paying to play the game for 2 yrs.

Yeah i beta tested it, and after 1day of playing it was just to boring. The realm looks good but the gameplay was a cross between guildwars and wow.
If anything the world is bigger than wow...still i just couldnt get into it.
If you get a free trial then try it out, my style of games i like is not typical.

And you would still be saving $160. A good deal if you are confident you'll be playing that long.

It's a fun enough game, but who the hell would plan on playing it for two years? Really, I find all MMOs get boring quite quickly
