Yeah you heard me slackers! time for another aussie alfa con, piss up, what ever!
this time its in MELBOURNE ((sucks to be me..)) some time in late Jan early Feb.

You are definitely on my wavelength there Dran.
I had already started thinking of something for then, including Melbourne this time.
I was even considering the idea - depending on how many Sydneysiders are in - to somehow get my hands on a minibus, and driving us all down.
(Thangorn, fly into Sydney, and hop on board!).
I have just informed indio (he is already in Melbourne).
Strakkor and Zekal live down there too - so should be up for it.
If DaDingo and SHM are back from Schoolies or whatever they do after their exams, they may also be interested.

ALFACon Australia is open to anyone in ALFA if they decide to pay their way down here for it. We would certainly not refuse your company.
Janurary or Feburary are the most likely times at this stage. While we will mostly work out the date around when us aussies can make it, if there are a few internationals that may be able to show up, we will take that into account

Dude, id fly to sydney just so i could take the bus down to melbourne with you guys
How longs a drive from sydney to melbourne take? Ill be taking a week off work, so we could do a roadtrip on day 1 and sightseeing/drinking/nerding out on day 2
