Last night was the season/fall finale. What did you guys think?
Lots and lots of shockers last night. I was seriously impressed. Had me almost thinking Heroes kicks Battlestar Galactica's ass in character development.
Slyar was supposedly not able to get out of that room, but damn if he didnt do it with ease
Im still trying to figure out whats up with Peter. He looks to have a power that syphons others abilities like Sylar can, but then at the end he goes nova on the whole town. Im wondering if he in the not to distance future meets up with the radiation guy and inherits some of his powers. I'm also wondering why hes now sick? He was looking really ill in the jail cell. Part of me even thought his powers were going to progress almost like Phoenix from X-men did. Dunno, just the whole thing reminds me of it. It also is a mystery how he can get the dreams hes getting.
Im glad that the Voice chic let the painter go from the complex. Him finding Hiro was awesome. It was also cool to actually "hear" the Haitian. What do you guys think about him? Is he working to help the heroes or is he actually doing things to bring down the house much like Sylar was?
So much going on and the previews of the new season looked wonderful. Only thing I was sorta dissapointed in was Hiro and his picture of him fighting what looked to be a dinosaur. WTF?
So lets hear some theories!!

They go to the past in order to stop the world from exploding.
Horrible idea, but its the best I've got. Is sci-fi showing the finale? I missed it last night. I was on the phone with my GF and she had a really bad day, so I talked to her from 8:15 to about 10:30.

Peter's ability doesn't seem to be absorption, but rather emulation. When he's near another mutant, he can use the same abilities without reducing the abilities of the other mutant. This is unlike Syler, who seems in essence to have to consume the other mutant to get their abilities. However, the finale seems to open up the question of what the long-term effects are, cuz he was definitely havin issues there at the end.
With Syler in the cell...why was Claire's dad able to have no problem around Sylar, yet the voice chick got massively pwnd? I'm wondering if Claire's dad is actually some sort of mutant with a null ability...other mutant's abilities don't work around him?
The Haitian...that was definitely a wtf moment. What is that dude's agenda? He definitely seems like he's got a much bigger perspective on the situation than anybody else. And why the hell is it so important that Claire's mind isn't wiped? Why does he think that? He's definitely a big question mark thrown out there to chew on.
Without a doubt, Nikki/Jessica is one fscked-up mess. I'm wondering how they get that little group together with the others.
And what is up with Mohinder? I'm thinking, why is this guy here? What is he contributing to the story? My wife doesn't seem to mind him though...hoobie says, 'hot indian guy 4tw!'.

I don't much jive with Mohinder either, though I suppose it has to do with the story and the normal humans. And Peter's vision.... remember the guy who killed his wife? I think that the two of them end up near each other and Peter can't handle it. Just what I expect.

For anyone who may have missed an episode, they're now all online (used to be only the latest) - http://www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_ep ... roes.shtml
Catch the one u missed, or Nick's case, be ahead of your neighbors.

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person

We get so used to invisibility from DnD that it doesn't seem like that big a deal, but HOW cool was the invisible guy!?
