So we're talking about age here?

Well, I'm 19 myself. Currently in university working on anything and everything that'll keep me busy. If you want updates on my university life, be it classes or girlfriend-drama, ALFA Chat is where you go :P.
Part of ALFA since May 2000.

26.
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Thrity-two year old father, here. Live in the middle of nowhere(backwater Ohio) and I still can't stand my neighbors. My newest joy is my boy, Xandrakkan (Named originally, and without a character-name generator) born on Halloween of last year. I have a girlfriend of 8 years, who I will get around to marrying eventually.

Spend my free time praying Robert Jordan doesn't die before finishing his 'Wheel of Time' series, potty training (the boy, of course. I've been using the pottie for a good three years, now.), and....long walks on the beach? Bought the 'red box' D&D original when I was about nine, and have been rolling with the new versions and rules ever since.

18 year old freshman at Michigan State University (eh, I was too lazy for the University of Michigan) majoring in psychology. Yup, only another decade of college until I can entertain getting a job in my chosen field.

Currently trying to avoid all grades that resemble anything 'B' shaped and MIPs.

I think I'd be around 15 intelligence in-game. Unless we're going with the real life straight translation where 7.5-12.5 would be average, then I'd be around 13, which is gifted and MENSA worthy, but sounds rather low.

Wisdom? That's tricky. I can see precedent, but my common sense is about a -6. I'd say 11.

No children or spouses... hmm... my sister is a musical prodigy.

I've never actually played D&D PnP. I like the creative aspect of creating a world and exploring a sociopathic point of view by playing an evil character. It sounds dark, but it's more interesting than creepy. I promise.

People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

I'm turning 39 in a few weeks. I'm a pseudoacademic musculoskeletal radiologist. My oldest brother went off to college in 1977 and came back the next year with a new game...............the D&D box set. He DM'd for me and my friends in the attic of our home while ELO and the Alan Parson's project was playing on the phono. I quickly abandoned all the Avalon Hill tactical games for a new obsession.

Professional life, childhood, and 40+ hours a week of online gaming aside, I'm really not as much a geek as I seem on paper. Live music, canoing, and travel travel travel are even higher priorities than D&D.

I'm 32, have an honours degree in civil engineering, a professional offshore diving qualification (though right now, I'm probably not fit enough to pass the medical) and am currently working in the finance sector 4 days a week.

Why only four days? The other day I spend as a volunteer helper at a local primary school. Next year, I hope to start my teacher training.

I've been happily married for just over 6 years.

*edit: found a pic - albeit of a younger, thinner me with more hair*
