Armenian genocide

Saying we should call it genocide because that's what it is misses the point...there is a political agenda driving the bill rather than a moral one, just like there's a political agenda behind objections to it. Labelling the even genocide may be moral and accurate (though ethnic cleansing seems more accurate), but that doesn't have much to do with what's happening.

Well sure. There is always a political agenda driving politics. I'm not holding my breath hoping that the folks on Capitol Hill actually apply their moral conscience. I don't think anyone up there has one.
