When I find it... I'll post the Trans-Fro-mers for y'all.

Just saw it. Not overly impressed at all. Die Hard 4 was superior.

Jesus, people.....it was just a movie. A throw back to our childhood for many of us. Could it have been better? Yes, while i enjoyed the movie, I also thought there were a couple things that could have been done to better it. However, I went because I remember getting home from school and parking in front of the tv to watch the original cartoon in its first run.

A very poorly produced cartoon that many of us wasted a good amount of time with.

I've come to determine that people get spoiled by high quality literature and media. They go back to the drivil they absorbed before they knew better, and find this mental slurry unpalatable. The chunks of thought and meaty stories they grew so fond of are unfound in yesteryear, and so it is better to dine on the today.

Die Hard 4.0 wasn't that great either, but entertaining, as was this movie. A big, dumb summer blockbuster.

This was a lame version of 300. But stupider.

Fun, but I doubt I'll watch it again.

I had fun, the husband had fun, and the teen who just happens to live with us (ask her, she'll tell you we're not her parents) just loved it.

Translation: Enough accuracy and nostalgia to keep the rent happy, enough fun for the kid.

I expect so little out of summer "blockbusters". I expect hack stories, exposions, and schlock. Transformers did better. Bey and Speilberg also made a movie that you HAD to see on the big screen (though we've been watching pirate versions on our iPods since, yarr)

I may even pay to see the obviously set up sequel.

Now it sounds like I need to watch it before it leaves the big screen.
Transformers were one of my favorite toys as a kid, right after Legos.
(although you can use them both and make weapons and scenery... muahaha)
