If only that were true. Realize that whatever right wing information outlet Zak reads / listens to is gospel to him. Everything else is misinformation.

The ironic part is that the people who normally spew this stuff would love to see transgendered Zak hanging from a rope. He's defending the ideologies of those who would gladly kill him. Zak is an interesting case study.
I prefer her.

Anyways, on matters of security for the US, I am more in line with the conservative side of politics, than the liberal side. What is mainly talked about on the forums is security(the war on terror and such), than most other things. I have a more liberal bent on social matters, which are rarely talked about here.

Geez, I must be a uninformed uneducated bigot. Yeah, I prefer they stand up for what they believe in. You guys do the same, but when you stoop to stupid remaks thats where I draw the line and have to comment. Also I don't think Zak is uneducated when it comes to politics at least.
White Warlock wrote:Btw Helios, praising Zak while condemning others in this thread, is part and parcel to indicating your agreement to his beliefs, not to his 'sticking up' to his beliefs. Don't falsify your position by praising the sacrificial lamb. It's not going to get past the snuff test.
"Sacrificial lamb?" LOL.
I think you are so stupid you quite literally missed the entire intent of my post. Condemning others. . . Who else did I mention aside from Mulu? - Which, by the way he deserves to be condemned. You are right I did indicate my agreement with her beliefs. Bravo you smart feller you, for spotting it. You deserve a medal.
White Warlock wrote: And yes, i could have been more courteous and respectful just now, but then again, so could you have been. No punches held when gloves are off, eh.
Aye, fine by me. No quarter sir. I'll try pull one out of the ol' Olbermann playbook. . .
White Warlock wrote: As i stated, it's not religion we're talking about, so 'belief' is not the issue here. What truly matters is that people allow themselves to learn, to become informed, and not to take a stance on a 'belief,' and then resist any and all information presented that somehow 'challenges' that belief.
LOL - I'll post mour latar! Wee!

Gold, I guess you dont get it. If we republicans/conservatives say anything, do anything, speak up and defend our leaders we get lambasted by the liberal meatpuppets. They pull ever bit of nonsense they can think up. We watch them pull liberal websites out of their asses as facts and we laugh. Im sure they do the same with us since they will not believe anything coming from a conservative news source.

Helios is right, though. You watch the Democrats or liberals in general. Their retoric gets louder and louder and all they do is talk. They offer nothing in return as a real solution. Helios was playing off it in his last post. Its exactly what most of the Dems/Liberals do and act.

You might not think it was funny that he was making fun of how they act, but non the less its how they act. So consider them idiots not him.

Hello, kettle? This is the pot. You're black.

Actually, I have heard a number of alternatives offered on a number of subjects. I think the real issue is that when you hear an idea you don't agree with you dismiss it utterly. It doesn't mean nothing was offered. You just didn't like it. Looking at things from the other side, what the Republicans seem to offer is more of the same things they have been doing for the past several years. No acknowledgement of mistakes, no accountability, and no recognition when things aren't working and it might be time to try something else. If you want to say, "at least GWB made a decision and did something", then great! I can respect that. More ofthen than not I disagree with his decision, but you are absolutely right...there is never any question where the man stands. The problem is when where is stands is smack in the middle of a pool of quick-sand and he's too stubborn to admit the ground is a bit soft. I can handle disagreement, and I can admit that sometimes the other side is right. What I, and a lot of others, are sick of is bull-headed denial of reality.

Hes a subborn Texan thats for sure. I agree with you there. I think it was a serious kick in the ass to him when the Dems seized control of the Congress. He finally had to wake up some and show some accountability. I actually dont mind the Dems giving him a kick in the ass cause its what he needs to get back on track. What I do not care for is Pelosi running off to Syria to play footsies with their dictator when our own State Dept doesnt want any high ranking officals trying to talk to them when they support terrorism. Gotta love Pelosi fucking up the whole Israel wants to have peace with Syria thing too. Shes the 3rd highest government offical, but to me shes the biggest moron on the hill.

and also Helios pay no attention to Grand Fromage. Hes in college and knows everything

I think we need to be talking with them. (Please note I did NOT say we should be giving them anything...just talking) I tend to agree the Speaker of the House is probably not the appropriate person to be filling that role. I just wish some of the appropriate people would step up.

Its a fine line. If we open dialogue with them we run the risk of making Israel mad and we ar e allies with them on this. If Syria would denounce Hezbolla and actually stop supporting Terrorism that would help matters. Talking doesnt hurt a thing and I agree some dialogue could happen, but these countries are using our talks to basically extort us like NK has done just to get them to stop producing nukes. (which I dont believe they will do for a minute.) Iran will want shitloads of consessions to stop if they even are willing to stop. They truly are fanatics and I think they will stop at nothing to gain nukes no matter what. What we need is the goddamn russians and Chinese to stop vetoing or threatening to veto every sanction the UN tries to pass. Its not like Russia didnt give Iran those reactors in the first place plus all the technical know how. They got a shitload of cash for their deals with Iran. China has interest there as well, but mostly the Chinese just like pissing off the US.

If talking would open up some real chance for change Im all for it. You cant puff out your chest forever and hope things will work in your favor.

So make Israel mad. What're they gonna do, attack one of our ships?

Oh. Wait. They already did that. Nevermind.

Jesus?! LOL! Hate to break it to you GF, I'm a /tad/ atheist there buddy. LOL! Get your money back, that college education has gone to waste. :( But uh, again, the gloves are off and it's time to become asshat personal.

Tut, tut, tut, sir. Just who is listening to whom? GWB has apologized in the past several times. Former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld himself has said he is responsible. In fact his exact words were, "BY GOD!!! OF COURSE I'M RESPONSIBLE!"
Don't you worry about that, it was probably easy to miss, you were probably too busy watching MTV and smoking blunts to notice.

I'm glad you called me an idiot. What word should label you with, hmm, hmm. . . Nah, just kidding. I won't say anything bad about you much. You're a nice guy, I'll only say you watch MTV too much and you're often prone to get high while doing so. So fire away with the witty retorts.

GF on the other hand deserves to be just shatted all over.
