So what are you saying killthorne? That she's stupid because she's made some mistakes? That getting to the top tier of politics, delivering great speeches, holding her own in a political debate with a vastly more experienced candidate is not in any way a reflection of her intelligence? Do you think you could do that? I certainly don't hear you reaching that conclusion about Obama's mistakes, Biden's mistakes, or McCain's mistakes. C'mon, this isn't sexist?

Yes, I think she's a beautiful woman - that's stating the obvious though unless you are blind - and that is something she is blessed with, but I don't for a minute think or claim that's all there is to her. I'm not the one in that crowd.

If someone is beautiful, why shouldn't they use it? We wouldn't suggest someone that is smart shouldn't use it (republican bias against intellectualism notwithstanding), nor that someone who is athletic shouldn't use it.

Nothing wrong with my drooling. It's entertaining, even if only myself.

But Gov. Palin's looks aren't all that I find attractive about her. It's her intelligence, of which she has plenty. It's her political achievements. It's her courage and character; She doesn't allow a doctor to dictate the value of her unborn child's life. She doesn't consider her daughter's pregnancy a punishing mistake or embarrassment. She doesn't lie about who she is or what she believes (unlike Obama).

Obviously this is all a matter of opinion.

I'll leave you people to drool over someone with incredible intelligence, years and years of political achievement, outstanding courage and bravery when faced with the idea of abortion and her daughter's pregnancy, and a persona so widely known, that everyone knew she would be the "one" when McCain chose her.

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with beauty, as long as it isn't a hook for stupid males relying only on their hormones to make an important political decision.

Me, I don't find her attractive at all. I must be blind. Maybe it's that personality and agenda of hers that's screwing with my "check-out-her-nice-legs" goggles.

As for calling her stupid, I don't recall that I have. Oh no, I actually think she's about as crafty as good ol' W. But some of you still consider him just great, so why bother explaining further?

There's still nothing wrong with it. In America, we're allowed to vote for folks for whatever reason we'd like. If stupid males want to vote for her because she hunts moose or has a pair of fantastic heavy teardrop-shaped tits with gorgeously wide areolas, good on them!

Absolutely! I mean, just look at all of the numbskulls who voted for Bush Jr. the second go round because he was a republican, or because they were afraid to switch horses in the middle of a war, or because of Kerry-boatitis (still waiting to hear on McCains war-record flub ups from the right wing controlled mass media...)....he got voted in, and everything went great!

I'm sorry, but can you clarify?

Are you honestly saying that of all the possible experienced politicians McCain could have chosen for his running mate, she was picked because she would genuinely make the best Vice President?

Really? A woman who until recently didn't know what the VP's job was, who is under investigation for abuse of power, and who McCain barely knew?

Or you don't read whole sentences. Or maybe it's that I prefer knowing who I am sleeping with, and in that frame of mind, not sleeping with someone I have conflict of interests with, or just plainly dislike.

I also seem to be one of those males that doesn't need a picture of a woman sitting in a business suit to jumpstart the ol' libido either... and maybe, just maybe, have a greater imagination because of it.
