I try not to date any of the girls I hang out with.

That may be my problem. However, I really like (love??) one of my friends, but she's taken at the moment. I think she would at least give me a chance though. I just feel like I have to ask if the chance does come up, or else I've got this feeling that I will regret it forever. This year is pretty much my last chance while in school with her, after that I've gotta visit her on weekends at home or at UMBC in Baltimore, which is only an hour and a half from here.
I voted for Obama. The apocalypse is nigh!
Most of the girls I'm on familiar speaking terms with are either lesibans, married with kids, or simply far too old for me (married, gay, or dead). At 31 I'm not going to date someone over 40, or under 21. Weight really hasn't been an issue for me, nor has perfect skin. A bit of celulite isn't so bad, nor are a few blemishes. I've learned recently how both can be controled, and don't mind sharing what I know with someone close.
The ladies I am on extra-familiar terms with don't know my other friends, and are often loners who don't know each other. I'm hoping that when I find one who wants more than just dancing and a good time, I can keep the others at a distance.
