I think she's been slowly testing herself. Wouldn't be hard.
Accidentally cut yourself with a knife... where'd the cut go? and so on. Garbage disposal was yet another test -- that's the way i interperated it, not an accident. If I was her and found out that I was unable to be injured I would be testing it out....

I think it just shows how different people would embrace gaining such power in different ways.Mordekai wrote:Why is she looking so disappointed though.Zekal wrote:I think she's been slowly testing herself. Wouldn't be hard.

The japanese guy, the stereotypical comicbook nerd -- the kind of person whose life is so dull and boring that they dream of having superpowers. He embraces it with open arms.
Cheerleader, her life was pretty much what she thought she wanted. Having these powers isn't seen to her as a gift but a curse -- one that makes her different from all the other people around her therefore she knows full well it makes her a target for angst as she and her friends have in the past targetted other different people.
That's my interpertation, but all stories are meant to be seen in our own way so you can make of it what you want.
yeah, its final. I'm hella-hooked.. it's nasty how much i like this show

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person

In some comics superheroes can split into two beings. I know one from Guardians of the Galaxy could be a man named Starhawk and a woman named Alita. Maybe thats the case with her except same sex. Shes a mean bitch, thoughyeah...why is the woman with split personality a superhero, and not simply mentally disturbed?

Just watched the first 2. So far very good. Had a good laugh at the Star Trek and X-Men references and hope it's not just a mutant knockoff show.

"We had gone in search of the American dream. It had been a lame f*ckaround. A waste of time. There was no point in looking back. F*ck no, not today thank you kindly. My heart was filled with joy. I felt like a monster reincarnation of Horatio Alger. A man on the move... and just sick enough to be totally confident." -- Raoul Duke.
