Did you say Bradford? As in Bradford near Wakefield?
As in Yorkshire?

Crikey, all our family is up that way.

Looks like I'm headed for London then to sunny Yorks this August *Arm pumps*.

InFest sounds like a laugh too, get me a ticket/phone number of doorman? :P

On a side note, what is any self-respectin' member of the UK ALFA league tm doing on the 9th 10th and 11th of june? If you're not in Doddington attending www.downloadfestival.co.uk then I'm ashamed!

On second thought, let us not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.

I'm going to be in London over Xmas and New Year- how about meeting up during the week inbetween? The 27th is a Wednesday for perspective. THere's also before and after... I've not booked my flights yet but I expect to be over about the 18th to the 4th/5th.

Oh yeah, I'll have a Yankee bum in tow. You might have heard of him, he's called Acadius. :D Got to get him educated in curry and stuff, his knowledge is lacking and downright frightening.

Yorkshire pudding, marmite and thick black beer!

Lets feed him properly or just get terribly drunk.
I'll look at taking the day and hours after off for a fun event of drunken silliness!

Tickets all squared away- flying in on Jan 19th, flying out (to NYC) wed, January 3rd.

Likely be in the greater London area for most of that span, unless plans change. Lou wants to check this out as well: http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/exhibitions/gameon/

Don't think they'll have NWN with the ALFA haks in, though... :p

Apologies for my obviously odd game priorities but who needs haks and nwn when I can have 4 player LAN Halo2 and kick some arse. Not only do I intend to 'check out' the exhibition- I want to arrive at 10am and stay till closing 8)

Staying for almost a year? ;)

I'm a short(ish) trainride from London, now. Days off during termtime are non-starters, though, so if I were to do anything it would have to be a weekend.

He meant December 19th, oops!

And its also kind of wrong in itself, we're leaving SF at the unsociable hour of 6am on Tuesday the 19th and landing at some godawful UK hour on Wednesday the 20th. As far as weekends go, Xmas Eve is a Sunday and so is New Year's Eve. A Saturday isn't out of the question but I had mentioned the few weekdays in between the holidays before. Given the possibility of Xmas stocking Xbox 360s the Science museum might have more loulabelle-friendly queues after Xmas.

Doesn't have to be London either. I'm pining for a lot of different aspects of England so I'm fairly easy, though lazy so I might have a perimeter.

Anyone who is still interested in meeting up in the greater london area during that time (20th dec - 2nd Jan), dash me an email perhaps to coordinate. Our plans are still pretty openended. Might just be as simple as picking a night and a pub in London.

A london pub point has been suggested within the next 24 hours, which we'll plan to catch, at the least.

The Chandos, @ William IV & St. Martin's Lane (near Leicester Square or Charing Cross stations). 6 PM GMT.

Any extra takers, I suppose, could just show up and look for Loulabelle, as she's the only one with a picture on the ALFA pages currently.

So far: AcadiusLost, Loulabelle, Cassiel.
