Well, it's everything of course, but there are polls specifically on Ayers that show it's a negative, just as there are polls specifically on Palin that show she's a negative, in fact she's the highest negative on the poll, more so than his ability to handle the economy. Yeah, she'll be a plum candidate in 2012.
"I think this is pertinent because McCain has been running this campaign based on 'we're at war, it's a dangerous world out there. The democrats don't get that. I John McCain am the only one standing between the blood-thirsty Al Qaedas and you. But if I die, this stewardess can handle it.'" –Bill Maher

And picking back up on this, the only Americans WUO killed were themselves....
"The question she keeps asking at all of the rallies is, 'Who is Barack Obama?' You know what, genius, maybe if you'd picked up a newspaper in the last year you'd know. He's the guy who's kicking your ass." --Bill Maher
It is very difficult to find any stories on, say, a simple topic like "who won the election." It's all baloney like "wow a Republican think tank has the next great generation of leaders to energize the party!" or "wow, let's get some comments from Palin about the wonderful future she can forecast" etc. The occasional mention of the victor in the presidential election tends to be "Oh boy he has a lot of cronies he'll be paying back in organized labor, immediately upon inauguration!"
Again, hardly matters where you click in the Fox website, you're not going to find any archived election night stuff that highlights how the evening went. This isn't to say I like CNN, but if you compare how much content they generated (they're good at filling 24 hrs a day with "news"), it's kind of silly to behold.
I am not quite sure if a coworker was joking, but he'd mentioned when he was watching the election, maybe the Buffalo affiliate or whoever shut down any election coverage early and switched to episodes of Seinfeld (hmm, nothing in this election special to please our core viewers, let's shut 'er down). Hah. Probably a local affiliate decision if it happened at all, but I got a chuckle.
