i've got a Level 14 half-orc rogue (Bones) on the same server as HEEGZ. I'd re-roll him if folks want to start fresh? I'd also be interested in a mage or offense tank if we have a set rogue.

Account is MadMotherNature@gmail.com i believe,

I'd love to, but I can't play F2P MMOs. They are too damn expensive. :)
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

I am checking it out a bit, lot of good smashery. With a dwarf guardian fighter type tank, think 6th or 7th just doing some of the intro quests. I assume the bigger fun is in groups.

Im ready for smash. I cant decide between big sword guy or shoot-y bow guy. On one hand, nature-y stuff is cool but on the other hand sword so big they blot out the sun when raised is also cool. Which shall it be?

Well, you always play shooty bowman guys, why stop now? There's a wiki with various style tips for how these guys are even used, I get impression big sword guys are for the many little minions running around by bosses (though I gather shieldy fighter guys are for defensive tanking the bosses). Not sure what shooty guys do.

Near as I can tell:
-- Clerics are heals
-- Rogues are single-target DPS
-- Shield fighters are tanks
-- Sword fighters are area DPS
-- Rangers snipe squishies
-- Wizards are crowd control

I'm also not married to my rogue if kiyoti would rather keep his. Would probably do a wizard instead if so.

I think Im gunna be half an elf with the upper half being the elf half so I can retain my manhood down below.

Ill jump in game tonight and try to meet up with you peeps. Its probably better that I play a DPS class because me playing a tank or healer that the party needs to rely upon is bound to lead to a good bit of heartache for everyone involved.

I am getting the impression that some kind of features revolve around having 5 players? Dungeon Delves? I haven't figured out their wiki yet, but again, something about "5" (whether this is minimum 5 or maximum 5 for some things?) I can't say. ALFAns as hard to herd as cats though so it may just be ad hoc people organizing in IRC to go on and get smasho.

While balanced parties I am sure are lovely, it is not like the game'll break at super low levels if there's a bad party mix. Sure, at the super high levels of obsession I am sure it gets nuts, but as nooblins running around going crazy, it's who cares territory.

I would be willing to give this a shot if someone can clarify who is playing what, where, and when.

Well, if Kiyoti is keeping the rogue, I'll swap my rogue out for a wizard.

It sounded from HEEGZ in chat like this was gonna be Tuesdays?

New half-orc rogue.

Name:Silence
Account:MadMotherNature@gmail.com

I could do Tuesdays?

It's going to be tough getting everyone on at the same time. Perhaps we try for a level limit? We wait till everyone hits that limit before moving on? Just some idea's.
