I finished "The Gathering Storm" a few weeks ago, and I agree - Sanderson did a great job advancing the story. Tarmon Gaidon is finally coming! I enjoyed it so much, I started rereading the books from the beginning (since it's been about 20 years since I read "Eye of the World").
I'm looking forward to the last two! I wonder if the Jordan estate will allow someone to write a few books about the Age of Legends and Artur Hawkwing...Now that I can see a light at the end of the tunnel, I wished there was more.

Re: WoT: The Gathering Storm
I think i gave up at book 8. Seems like the wheel of time and the sword of truth where both blending together with the never ending crap.
But i guess i can pick it up again and see how the new writer is doing.
Currently i am reading the Corean Chronicles by Modesitt.

How are those ones? Read his Recluse stuff (obviously) and enjoyed it, but they pretty much ended up just being the same story retold over and over.
