Calling the liberal alfans twits, however, is a bit over the line.

Being called a twit is the most Liberal (

see what I did there) thing I could come up with. I sit in chat and listen to republicans being called everything under the sun. I doubt being called a twit is going to really offend someone. It goes beyond personal with some of the things folks have said about republicans or even being christian.

K, I getcha... I suppose since I've been away from chat for four or five months that I don't see that sort of thing. Still the whole condescension thing isn't cool, from either side...and it is EXACTLY what is wrong with my damn country. The fact that people can't put aside the bull and do what needs to be done makes me a bit turned off to politics...a bunch of people yamering to hear their own voices and to feel important about themselves. I think most independants feel the same (at least the ones I know and talk to do), and most stay uninformed rather than wading through the b.s. to find the one or two truth nuggets. Unfortunate, that.

No ones getting beat up im just saying its the whole slant of this project. Its all good if its christian, republican, etc bashing around here. We even see it coming from our Admin. So much for holding them to higher standards, right?

As for this whole former PR shit. Get over it. Im not working in PR because I wont work with one Admin (Zic) who is one of the main reasons Im bringing this up about bashing. If ALFA wants to allow someone to run things who acts the way he does at times I dont want to promote it. Its that simple.

I'm uncertain if anyone really cares that much about MSNBC. Personally I'd rather be reading newspapers, magazines, and online articles instead of watching television.

Yeah IRC is a pretty foul-mouthed place. Why in the course of one short evening, I was witness to the following offensive language:

With all of the screwups that have happened over the last eight years, I could rewrite Billy Joel's We Didn't Start the Fire....just using eight years of material. Not to say Dems would have done any better if they had the same eight...probably just different screw ups.

It took about a minute, which is more effort than I am inclined to spend on you, but little enough effort to provide entertainment to my fellow Alfans.

Copy, paste into excel, find/replace to strip the time, sort in alphabetical orer, delete anything that isn't Lusipher, delete anything that doesn't contain profanity.

That last step didn't take very long, of course.
