And just to rub a little salt in the wound for the FR purists - Baldur's Gate is now "probably" bigger than Waterdeep. And did I mention the whole new continent? And Asmodeus is a greater god now. Zhentil Keep is gone. And it seems like Vampires are behind half the kingdoms and thrones of the land ... except in Westgate, where the Vampire thieves-guild thingy got ousted and no longer exists, having been taken over by the Fire-knives.
