Just caught the second episode on my Tivo; looks interesting. Now, to fit it in my schedule of the Daily Show, Colbert Report, House, Psych, and various anime shows.
The two brothers are going to become mortal enemies. This Sylar fellow is going to be like the evil leader recruiting folks just like that Indian fellows father was for good.

Uhmm.. Am I the only one who got it that she is actually trying to hurt herself? I mean, she didn't jump because it was fun, she said it was "attempt" number seven or whatever. She is suicidal. Must be hell to try and kill yourself and fail every time because your body just heals back.

I have never gotten the impression she is trying to hurt herself. WIth the garbage disposal it looked like she lost her ring (?) down it, was annoyed and went after it. The fact it was left on was to show us that she wasn't hurt. A far better way to demonstrate it would have been to have her turn it off like a normal person then go after the ring then have it bumped back on again when her hand was down there. That was my interpretation anyhow.
Now she's been dead and will realise she can stay dead only if her body can't heal itself ie, eject the branch in that case, if she *really* wants to kill herself its easy- decapitation would be the number one, just need to rig up a way to make sure it works.
I guess we'll find out next Monday!

Well, how do you propose she found out about being able to heal herself in the first place, I mean normal people don't go around throwing themselves off cliffs and the like. It's pretty obvious to me at least.
