This has to rank as one of the top ten most digusting things I have ever read on these forums. Danubus is callous and generally ignorant but congratulations on topping him and showing yourself devoid of any sort human empathy.

I fully expect to get banned for this and probably deserve it but in all honesty you are a Ƥøا animal Mulu.
Dont wory, the forums have apparently been set up to auto-family-friendly-ize words for you. Totally funny how it uses mostly Norwegian specific characters dont you think ?

Its not his cussing hes talking about. Its the fact that Mulu could actually even say something so offensive to not only women to anyone who has a child with downs syndrome or other learning disablilities. To actually insinuate that she would try and deliberately hurt her child or hope she causes a miscarriage is just downright sick and offensive.

Only you could actually consider something so offensive.
Lots of women try to terminate pregnancies in various ways. Remember coathangers? Oh, of course you don't, you're too young. Some women wait and then throw the baby in the trash. Anti-abortionists have to trigger a miscarry since they can't use abortion, one of the many reasons legal and safe abortion should be available as an option.

If you want I can give you a bunch of examples of other women who have tried to trigger miscarriages. This isn't exactly rare, unfortunately. She may have been even doing it subconsciously. Welcome to reality.

If she was smart, she would have just used Vitamin C.

Well, just read the Wiki on the subject.
Wiki wrote:There are a number of anecdotally recorded and disseminated methods of performing a self-induced abortion. These may include:

-physical exertion designed to bring about a miscarriage

-abdominal massage

-receiving punches, kicks, or other blows to the abdominal area

-attempted removal of the fetus with a coat-hanger or similar device inserted into the uterus through the cervix (the historical use of this method has led to the use of coathangers as a symbol of the abortion rights movement, which associates self-induced abortion with the illegality of abortion)

-attempted piercing of the fetus with a knitting needle or similar device inserted into the uterus through the cervix

-suction through the insertion of a rubber tube into the uterus via the cervix

-ingesting abortifacients, high quantities of vitamin C, Pennyroyal or other substances believed to induce miscarriage

-douching with substances believed to induce miscarriage (beginning in the 1960s, many women used Coca Cola for this purpose, although its utility is at least dubious)
Emphasis added.
physical exertion designed to bring about a miscarriage
"I like running the hills, it kills me, that's why I like it, I mean it thrashes your guts..." Palin talking about hiking, which she did while 5 months into her secret pregnancy.

It's not a stretch to think she may have been trying to induce a miscarriage, regardless of how much that notion may offend you.

No, I'm just a lot more knowledgeable about human behavior than you are. People do some pretty bad things. I'm pretty sure Palin is included in the category of "people."

Think about it, why would she keep her pregnancy a secret until month 8? I think she was hoping she would never have to reveal it, due to it ending.

It was a private matter. She knew her baby would have downs. I imagine it took its toll on her family and they didnt really want to tell the world what they were trying to cope with. What you think is obviously just speculative.

and I thought Morbidkate was a conspiracy theorist...

Can you come up with anymore non factual nonsense?

It's a fact she hid the pregnancy.

It's a fact she engaged in extreme physical exertion during the pregnancy, something someone of her age with a down's fetus should absolutely not do.

It's a fact that many women purposefully induce miscarriages for a variety of reasons.

It's therefore quite possible her behavior was a purposeful or subconscious attempt to miscarry.

Sorry I ripped the wings off your angel. ;)

No one has mentioned that her teenage daughter is 5 months pregnant? Fine set of family values at work there. I may just be naive, but I tend to think Obama has the sense to raise his own daughters better than that.

I agree, Fluff. I read that and just shook my head. Her daughter made herself and her mom look pretty stupid with her decisions. Its hard to be spout conservative doctrine and have your daughter getting knocked up at 17.

On the contrary: it's "conservative doctrine" in practice. "Conservative doctrine" holds that teaching abstinence is the most appropriate form of sex ed, yet pesky old "reality" demonstrates that teaching abstinence does not - when it comes to preventing teenage pregnancy - work; and even that individuals who subscribe to cults like the "Silver Ring Thing" may have an increased chance of teenage pregnancy/STD infection. It's not Ms Palin's daughter who is making her look stupid; it's Ms Palin's policies.

In fact I seem to recall that Palin is involved in Teen Pact, which is the big abstinence only teen group.

The article I read on her teen daughter was pretty funny, how she was going to go into adulthood a lot earlier than she had planned and of course was going to get married.

Shotgun wedding! Boy did that dude knock up the wrong ultra right-wing Christian nut job. Her mom uses assault rifles!

Palin backed abstinence-only education during her 2006 gubernatorial race. In an Eagle Forum Alaska questionnaire, Palin gave this response to the following question:

Will you support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education instead of for explicit sex-education programs, school-based clinics, and the distribution of contraceptives in schools?

Palin: Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support.

And, of course, if they ever break up - well, there's no chance of any use of the mother-in-law's personal power to pursue a family grudge is there...

That there just sums up everything wrong with her IMO. It is far better to teach youths sex-ed so they are getting the right information (instead of getting it from each other or porn/other sources) than it is to tell them its a heathen sin if they even get close to doing it outside of marriage.

Im all for saving yourself for marriage if that is your thing, but denying young people the proper education about one of the biggest changes they will experience while growing up ('What are these urges i am feeling?') in exchange for abstinence is absolute idiocy.
