If it's yahoo... sure. I'll add another league.
If I have to sign up somewhere else... then probably not.

Re: ALFA Fantasy Football
10 years ago I'd have signed up in a heartbeat. I used to know the names/stats of 3rd stringers sitting on the bench of half the teams in the league.
Can't, just can't do it anymore. At least not now.

Re: ALFA Fantasy Football
It's an american thing where they think football is something you carry with your hands. If im not mistaken, it's about putting dream teams together and pitting them against eachother or whatever based on stats. Hell, im just guessing and reciting stuff i remember from the TV-series "The League"puny wrote:What is fantasy football?
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Re: ALFA Fantasy Football
If it was just tipping I would join, but full on fantasy teams for a sport with very limited coverage here in Australia is a bit more than I'm willing to go.
Re: ALFA Fantasy Football
Pft. You go bowl a wicket with your hurly, but watch for those devilish twisters, after all the only way to play such lobs is to knock them off their length by darting forward and catching them full toss.Swift wrote:If it was just tipping I would join, but full on fantasy teams for a sport with very limited coverage here in Australia is a bit more than I'm willing to go.
I shall assume there is some meaning to what I just wrote.
I think it's because the ball is made out of human feet.bewmster wrote:It's an american thing where they think football is something you carry with your hands.

Re: ALFA Fantasy Football
There are one or two actual references to cricket there, but I am not going to waste my time pointing them out to an uneducated beast such as yourself
