Another quick perusal of the forums today. Does my heart good to know that ALFA persists. Hope all is well with all. Waiting for my "come back and visit letter"...

Dear Valdimir,
I hope this letter finds you well. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed playing with you on Shadowdale. While Yakuut the warrior and Elrien the pacifist were never destined to be friends, it was always a pleasure to cross paths, for just a moment of time in their lives. I enjoyed reading your library stories and I remember your story "The Pianist" was in the same issue of the Alfa Herald as my story "Fascination" was. That was the story that got me back into writing and I was excited to be in the same edition as such a good story as yours. While I don't think we ever DM'd each other or with each other, I enjoyed my time, albeit very short, on Selgaunt and it made me happy to know that you stepped up to look after her when needed.

Time is fleeting, dear chap and as life moves on it seems to grow ever shorter and more precious. With all that said, however, I hope you'll find a moment...
