Scrolls

Not the ones you nerds all think of, the ones that the other nerds think of, the card game.

There are microtransactions in the game, but they are completely optional and near-useless/pointless. Everything you can buy, you can buy from money earned by playing. I've played it for a week or so and it has real promise. It's made by Mojang and it combines classig CCG and strategy. Fun times for all. Join me and let's get it on! :D
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

I am watching this along with a few other TCG style games (Hex, Hearthstone and Card Hunter which is handing out 1000 beta keys per day)

Not really ready to take the plunge but it is shaping up pretty well.

You should try it out at least. Either you like it or you don't. It's not that much money and I really like that it's not pay to win :)

As I am not entirely keen on it, I will wait until closer to launch. I have tried Card Hunter which is interesting though the learning curve at this point in its Beta is pretty brutal.
