Re: New DND movie ?
They should make a movie with characters which are based on the characters D&D players create.
Most Pen and paper D&D games I played involved a bunch of characters at odds with each other, with wierd ticks and socially innappropriate responses, based on the fact they were being played by a bunck of nerds/geeks ( in the time before being a nerd was cool, and they were REAL nerds, not hipsters in roy orbison glasses)..
I.e. My chain whip wielding gladiator half orc, Bors.
City Guard (group of 7 men at the city gate): "Halt! We don't accept you kind in this city!"
Bors, after 7 consecutive successful trip attacks with his chain whip: "Bors brooks no insult!"
*Difficulty ensues for the rest of the paying session.*
OR
The party I was in with 5 neutral/evil monstrosities, and one angelic Avariel, who they constanty tried to shoot down as he hovered above them, spouting condescending truths. The campaign was designed for a party of good aligned characters, and the DM tried to railroad us to fit the story. The party drove the DM insane, and he quit D&D forever.
Oh, and get Peter Jackson to direct it.
