^ This. It seems to have worked for E.L. James.

I really liked the book and the story.
It was fun reading about characters I already knew about.
I cannot say much about the style as I'm not a writer myself.

Anyway, the book managed to make me want to play or DM again in ALFA :)
It could become some good PR stuff *nudges Veilan*

Read it. Never been a fan of the overall theme of the book, but the story was fun enough.

Elf/drow wars always bore me to tears.
First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd

Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"
