I've been in closed beta for a while. I am glad that everyone else gets a chance to play this, as it means more friends to enjoy the game with for once :D

Veilan, I think they might win back your heart ;-)

It looks so pretty! And who doesn't want to see me run around scantily dressed as a fugly old man with hand tremours!

We had a nice party. A wizard named Frank, an old man with Parkinsons and a Demon Hunter dressed like a whore.

Note: For co-op games with more than a couple of people, voice coms would likely increase the enjoyment level.

Trid and I tore through quite a bit of it with the Monk / Wizard team of two after you guys logged off, was pretty fun. Agreed on the voice chat for coordination; is Ventrillo still the best option for a free multi-user audio channel, or is there a better option these days?

I'd definitely like to play through it with voice chatting when it comes out. I could run skype without video in the background. And I'm making another Witchdoctor.. what a crazy class.

So. I didn't find out about this soon enough and did not bother Dling it just for a day.

How is it? is it worth it? Is it everything loyal d2 fans have been waiting over 10 years for?

Did anyone think the leveling system was way too linear compared to 2? I was kind of hoping they would keep the point buy system ...

I also wasn't happy that your weapons seemed basically useless except as dmg modifier jewelry for your skills/spells and such ...

Yes, I thought the levelling was very linear, I was surprised when I didn't have options and couldn't increase existing skills, eg put more points into Spider Jar attack to increase number and duration of spiders or something.
