Wow man, wtf. They really need to cancel this whole black Friday business, because apparently people just can NOT handle it. I remember (last?) year, two people died getting trampled after a crowed rushed into a walmart. You really gotta wonder how people do it.

There was a woman here in pa who pepper sprayed other shoppers to get better line placement, and somewhere else in the states someone fired some shots at a store. It certainly does show our fat, bloated, consumer driven face here in the US.

Not that we don't have ludicrous scenes at sales here in the UK - but just how much are these people trying to save? I despise shopping with the standard morons who traverse the high street store so much that I'll willingly pay 10% more to avoid their stupidity.

Sometimes stuff gets up to 70-80% off. But online stores do the sales too so, not much point in going out.

The thing they don't tell you is the stuff that is 70 or 80 percent off is only 3 or 5 per store, so they sell out absurdly quickly

Or they pull a Best Buy and spend the previous 3 weeks progressively raising the price so when they do discount it 50%+ it only brings the price down to what you would normally have paid anyway.
