The track of Tristram from Diablo 1 is used for Tristram in Diablo 2 though, and therefore, the identification of the origin is still faulty.

So, the music you like originates from Diablo 1, not Diablo 2. Of course, your failure to identify the music's origin pales in comparison to the failure of obviously not having played Diablo 1 as well...

Never did I ever say Tristram's backtrack originated from the Diablo II game.
I simply said: I listen to the D2 soundtrack sometimes, and my favourite track on that soundtrack, is the Tristram backtrack.
I played D1 for many many years. And D2 for even longer. How much fail can you possibly need for yourself V? *digs the hole deeper*
