Really excited about this. Hope it does the books justice.

A shame I don't get HBO, indeed I did like the books.

I'd say they nailed Cersei pretty well.

That huge-tapestry style of writing really bugs me. (and yes, Cersei indeed looks right) It very much feels like he bogged down and lost all hint of what the plot should be.

Something new may be coming, but I've shelved this one as "broken" until I see it.

I am willing to bet:

1) If the HBO miniseries is a success (and HBO usually does a great job) we will see the final installment of the book series (A Dance with Dragons?) be released around the same time as the series OR to coincide with a major feature film;

-and-

2) We get to see Cersei get nailed. :wink:

I believe he's got another three planned. A Dance with Dragons and The Winds of Winter (set the same time, but different places) and A Dream of Spring.

Id nail Cersei if thats what she looks like for sure... I can almost understand Jamies point of view now... eh na thats wrong on to many levels.

Hrm... I must be low in the testosterone lately. I was thinking more on the lines of "well-deserved execution."
