The Gamers: Inspiration for DMS

Post by CloudDancing »

I found this to be stimulating to my thoughts on being a DM. Might help some of us who have burned out on DMing AND playing.

The First Movie:
The Gamemaster: Youre going to backstab him with a ballista?
Nimble the Thief: Uh huh
The Gamemaster: With a f*******g siege weapon?
Nimble the Thief: Uh huh

The Gamers II
A VERY quotable bit of inspiration for DMs.

Oooooold!

I liked the first movie better than the second one, where they tried to insert morale and a storyline.

I hope you've already seen Farador (Tom et ses chums!), which is even equally old!

There's another awesomely funny video about two guys playing DnD, but I forgot how it's named... it has quotes like "Mercy? I'm chaotic neutral!" and involves a module they play called "Pleasure palace of the baathuvian demon-whore". If anyone remembers it...

I seriously plan to dress like Doug Doug when I DM, that robe is just too awesome.

t'as tué mon bonhomme :(

Awesomesly hilarious.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.
