I'll be in the states then (already confirmed a job!), so won't be able to make it.

There's a chance that I'm going to be over in aussie for a week or so, round mid winter next year. If there is any interest at all in having a mid-09 Aussie ALFA con, I could easily extend this stay (and move across country somewhere) to meet up with people. Any of our aussies interested? I know there are a fair handful of you buggers now, playing NWN2.

Not sure of the exact date right now - hasn't been finalized - and it of course depends if I can gather the money together. So for now, just throwing the idea out there.

Well, I have to go to Brissy, but if there was a big group who wanted to meet elsewhere, Icould happily fly down.

It could be a real stretch for me at the moment, with a new girl i am flying back and forth between adelaide and sydney at an average of 3-4 weeks right now, so money is going to be tight. If it was melbourne, i could probably do it, since its the cheapest place to get to from adelaide.

I'd probably be fine with Sydney for a weekend. Brissy to Sydney shouldn't be too much.

I don't intend on participating... Just dropped by to say its great seeing so many fellow New Zealanders and Aussies lurking about :) Just returned from Aussie this week visiting my father in the Hinterlands behind Surfers, great country and great people.

On that note...

A New Zealander walked the terrain of the Australian outback, pausing atop a hill to catch his breath and admire the beautiful landscape
As he observed the world around him, his attention was drawn to an Aussie farmer behind a woolshed furiously shagging a beautiful Merino
Disgusted and shocked, the Kiwi shouted; "Oi, mate! In New Zealand, we shear our sheep!"
"Bugger oof," the Aussie farmer replied between grunts, "I ain' sharin' wif nubody!"

Sydney or Melbourne is Ok with me. I'm easy. Whats the interest rate of me bringing a 3.5 DMG and some dice?
